Two articles that surfaced in 2018 was put out by the FDA about grain-free fed foods and the dangers. Prior to the FDA concern, it was thought that grain-free was "WAY" better for dogs... now 5 years after its been on the market its the known cause of heart problems. The high protein in grain-free food is also causing liver failure. Our caution is always to wait for new "ideas" to be tested for 10 years to see if its really a good idea or has drastic ramifications.
